I don't know if you have ever found yourself on an emotional roller coaster, but it can be quite the ride!
For me, I have been strapped in the front seat, in one particular area, for a while. Seven years to be exact!
Today, I was sitting before the Lord and began talking with Him about it. I told Him that I didn't understand, that I was tired, that I was frustrated, ticked, and totally "done" with the "one moment all is great and the next in the toilet" scenario that was on replay in my life. I was exhausted from being emotionally "slung" all over the place and was so ready to get off of the ride.
The Lord replied to me, "When you ride a roller coaster, you can hate every minute of it, be scared out of your mind, and sick by the time you get off of it. OR, you can throw your hands up, trust the roller coaster is safe, and laugh out loud from beginning to end."
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart." Prov. 3:5

Today, I am choosing to throw my hands up and enjoy the ride with Jesus. He sees, I am safe with Him; He knows just what is going on and what needs to happen, and He can be trusted to do what He says He will do.
