God says a lot about healing in His Word. The truth is that God needs our bodies. He needs our bodies because it is our bodies that carry His Spirit and fulfill His purposes on this earth. Without our bodies, there is no way that the Kingdom of God would be advanced here on earth. God needs our bodies. And He needs them healthy.
That's why one of His names is Jehovah Rapha. That's why Jesus went around healing people. That's why He gave the gift of healing. That's why we are to call for the elders of the church and anoint with oil and pray for people to be healed.
Matt and Amanda DeSarro are dear friends of our family. Their family is like family to us. Their son, Dominic, is in ICU in Tulsa. He is very very ill. His appendix ruptured a week ago, and was septic, though the last report I heard from Amanda is that he is stable. Praise the Lord. We still have a road to go and so I want to ask you to join me in praying for Dominic.
We are praying for complete and total healing of his body to even better than it was before all
of this occurred. We are declaring that he will live and declare the works of the Lord. We are declaring that he will be platformed to proclaim God's miraculous healing, help, and hope.
Psalm 118:17 - "I will live; I will not die; and will proclaim the works of the Lord."
Psalm 103:1-3 "Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."
Today, Monday, March 27th 12noon, I will be hosting a special DayToPray, in lieu of our Thursday DayToPray, to pray for all of those who are in need of physical healing.
