Many many years ago, God began giving me a word for my year. The word alway brings me a new facet of God, a new nearness to God, and a new place of growth with God.
I have seen friends who are still doing the Word for their year since then, and it brings me SO much joy because I know what an incredible journey with Him it will be!
For many of you, you know that I have, after 8 years (number of new beginnings), received the opportunity to begin a women's program through an amazing group called Farm For Hope. So many women will find Jesus and discover a fresh new life with Him! Can hardly wait for us to take our first lady in January!
Because if this, I have been in overload mode trying to get everything ready! I want these women to know how special they are the minute they see how God has prepared such a beautiful place just for them!
In my busyness, God has been so good to speak in the little pockets of time with Him. He is so loving, so understanding and so good. One day, as I was sitting with Him, I heard:
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
I asked the Lord what He wanted me to know through this verse and He said, "Revelation".
This word, "prepared" in 1 Corinthians 2:9 actually means "preparations being made; it is drawn from the oriental custom of sending on before kings on their journeys persons to level the roads and make them passable".
This is so profound and beautiful! God has gone before you. He has prepared and made a way through everything you will face in 2024. The number 4 means "door", and with every new open door, God will already have the way ready and prepared for you. You need only to walk through it with Him!!! And as you walk with Him, the revelation you will receive will be mind blowing!!!
Paul is speaking about the hidden wisdom of Jesus Christ: you hidden in Him and Him in you. You are hidden in Christ where He is seated at the right hand of the Father. He is in you on this earth so others will know Him as He lives through you. (Galatians 2:20)
It is this revelation of Jesus, we have received that others before us did not. Had they known they would not have crucified Jesus. But we have been given this revelation. And there is more to come!
1 Corinthians 2:10 says this, "But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God." Think about that: the Holy Spirit is searching out the deep places in God's heart in order to reveal those things to us! Wow.
So, as we approach a new year, 2024, I believe God has already gone before us, preparing the way, and as we walk through the open doors He will offer us in 2024, the Holy Spirit will reveal more of God's heart to us.

And here's the profound part to me: that as He prepares the way for us into 2024, our deeper intimacy with Him is also preparing the way for Him to come again. God has prepared a way for us to prepare the way for Him.

So may you have the Spirit of wisdom and REVELATION so that you may know Him better and then make Him known a little better, as you walk with Him. (Ephesians 1:17)
Here we come 2024! Here we come to join You, Jesus, in all You have prepared for us!!! We are prepared to have our minds blown by You!!!
