I don't know about you, but when I watch a movie, I am looking for a really good story. It doesn't even matter to me if it is fairly predictable, it just needs to be good. I really like documentaries or movies written based on a true story. Those are the best!
There is such power in a person's story. From rags to riches. From underdog to champions. From no justice to justice being served. From humble beginnings to major success. These are the stories I enjoy.
Why do we like them so much?
I think it is because they inspire us. They impact our hearts in an indescribable way. They influence us with hope.
In the world we live in today, we need to be encouraged. We need to have hope. Hope that our present can be different in the future.
