Suddenlies

Pentecost is Sunday. It is fifty days past Passover (Easter) and is the day when the disciples of Christ got a “suddenly”. Acts 2:1-4 says this: “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”

Do you need a suddenly? Do you need a sudden restoration or a sudden reconciliation??? Do you need a sudden defeat over the enemy and deliverance from his bondage in your life??? Do you need a sudden outpouring of His Spirit to enable you to step up to the next level in your destiny and purpose???? Do you need a sudden revelation about something???? Do you need a harvest to come and bring your prodigal family home, or a harvest of support????

Pentecost brought a suddenly. An experience where heaven invaded earth, and everything changed.

I believe that God has something He wants to reveal to all of us and He wants to set us free from whatever is holding us back from our purposes. He wants to free you from what is holding you back to free you to the next level in you fulfilling your purpose.

I believe God wants to free you from what is holding you back to free you to the next level in you fulfilling your purpose.

So what do we do?

  1. Ask for revelation. “Lord, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so I can know You better.” (Ephesians 1:17) We need revelation for what is holding us back and where He wants us to go next.

  2. Clean house. The word “carnal” in the Bible is from the root word “saroo” which means “to clean by sweeping with a broom”. God wants to clean all of the fleshly, emotionally driven parts of our hearts.

  3. Ask for a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 12:53-45) (Ephesians 5:16-18)

  4. Ask for a harvest. (Mark 4:29)

I am trusting that as we take time to do this, we are going to have some sudden lies occur that will change the trajectory of our lives. So, take some time with the Lord today and tomorrow and look and expect a suddenly!!!

You are so loved,
