When you approach God's Word or the FREE study, or any study, one of the most important keys needed is wisdom. For many who grew up in the Church, wisdom was defined as understanding in your head what God says you can do and can't do. But that is not wisdom. Because most people got saved in the Church but never went through a process of freedom to get yokes off, many have tried really hard to live a Christian life out of their flesh and not the Spirit. It has caused elitism, and judgement. And, it has been extremely frustrating.
Godly wisdom is different.
Proverbs 1:7 says, "The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and fools despise wisdom and instruction."
To fear the Lord does not mean that you are terrified of God but rather an intimate knowing of God's depth of love for you that you would hold Him and His Word in the highest esteem and honor and take Him very seriously.
The word "Proverb" means "to reign in life". If you understand that you are sons and daughters of the King of Kings, then you know that you were intended to reign in life.
Instead of life reigning over you,
you were made to reign in life.
Wisdom is the applied Word of God. You know with great intimacy God's heart for you and you begin to understand what He desires for you. When you take that knowledge and get understanding on it and then apply it to your life and practice it, that is when it becomes wisdom. Wisdom is the fruit of your understanding.
Pray for Wisdom: as you approach the Word, begin to pray Ephesians 1:17, "Father, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that I may know you better."
Practice Wisdom: the quickest path to freedom and reigning in life is obedience.
The King is coming and we must become a Bride who has made herself ready by breaking the yokes and becoming wise by applying the Word to every day life. This is the higher place where you can soar like an eagle, live free, like a dandelion in the wind.
Amen and amen! God has been giving me the word FREE and FREEDOM scriptures over and over as well as asking for wisdom for the past year! He even put a stranger in church this pat Sunday who I felt led to go greet and his name was James! Can’t wait to go deeper with Him, into more freedom, with more of His bride! Thank you Lord the King is coming!
