Helen Keller was quoted as saying, "Alone we can do so little; TOGETHER, we can do so much." JK Rowling said, "We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided." And, Mother Teresa encouraged us women to come together and "Do something beautiful for Christ."
I don't think anyone would argue with me that when women come together with a common goal, founded and based on God's Word, the world has the potential to be turned upside down for the cause of Christ! I don't know about you, but I want to be a part of that group!
God's Word talks alot about unity. Jesus prayed for it in John 17. Psalm 133:1 says, "How good and pleasant it is when sisters live together in unity!" Malachi 2:10 says it like this, "Are we not all of he same Father? Are we not all create by the same God?" And Romans 12:5 says that we all belong to each other.
The Jewish people, God's chosen people, just celebrated Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. On the Hebrew calendar, that year is 5781. The number 5 means "the grace of the Holy Spirit". The number 7 means "The Word of God as a sword that matures us to completion". The number 80 means "mouth". And the number 1 means "unity; oneness; no plurals". I believe God is empowering us as the Church, especially as women, to live and proclaim unity this next year.
There has never been a more critical time to come together as Christian women than right now. It is time we lay all prejudices, denominations, and preferences aside, and come together as one. It is time to stop all the pious judgmentalism that marks Christians today. It is time to end the pettiness that has been allowed to invade Christianity in our country, and be only, and solely, concerned about The Great Commission.

In the movie, The Patriot, Anne Scott makes a statement that can certainly resonate with us today, "Will you now, when needed most, stop at only words? Is that who you are? I only ask that you act upon the beliefs of which you have so strongly spoken and in which you so strongly believe."
